How does hairstyle visualization work?

You select or take a photo, then pick a hairstyle. Your photo is securely sent to fal.ai, an AI image generation service, which creates a realistic visualization of how that hairstyle would look on you. Results are typically ready in a few seconds.

My result doesn't look realistic — is that normal?

AI-generated visualizations are artistic approximations, not precise simulations. Results depend on lighting, photo angle, hair color, and the selected style. Some styles may render better than others. For best results, use a clear, front-facing photo in good lighting.

How many hairstyles do I get?

Each subscription includes a set number of hairstyle generations per billing period:
10 Hairstyles plan — 10 visualizations per period.
100 Hairstyles plan — 100 visualizations per period.
Unused visualizations expire at the end of each billing period and do not carry over.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iPhone: Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Android: Open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Select HairstyleChange and tap Cancel Subscription. You will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are processed by Apple or Google. For Apple purchases, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play's refund request flow. HairstyleChange cannot directly issue store refunds.

Is my photo stored or shared?

Result images are saved in our database.

The app is not working / crashing

Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, update iOS or Android and verify camera and photo access in your device settings. If you still have issues, contact us below.
